Yesterday’s market-related main events where a) the US CPI number reported at a dovish 0% and b) a hawkish FOMC (via Dot Plot). Here’s how the market reacted:
1) Rates (top left): down on CPI, up on FOMC
2) US Dollar (top right): down on CPI, up on FOMC
3) Gold (bottom left): up on CPI, down on FOMC
4) Mag 7 stock (bottom right): up 2% anyway …
Whatever the prevailing macro wind, be long Mag7 (no investment recommendation, just tongue in cheek)
