The S&P 500 has gone now 267 trading days without a drop in excess of 2%. Only three times to far this nearly quarter century has the S&P 500 gone more than 250 days without a two percent correction. Looking back over the past 75 years or so, such periods sometimes ended shortly after, but on some occasions that streak could last 2x or 3x longer. But the really important stat here is that the index was higher 12 months later 14 out of 15 times (or 93% of the time). Stay tuned…
